“I live and work in Osnabrück and I know Münster from sport events like the Münster marathon or cycling tours. The marathon combines the oldtown, the Aasee and the landscape around Münster so you can enjoy the city from different angles. The finish line is at the prinicipal market. Finishing the race in the heart of the city, surrounded by many people and music is a very special moment.

Between Osnabrück and Münster, there is the „Friedensroute“ (route of peace). This cycling tour is 163 km long and remembers the horsemen that had to ride back and forth between Osnabrück and Münster during the negotiations for the peace of Westphalia.“
