After having visited Münster’s argueably most famous attractions, the „Prinzipalmarkt“ and the „Hall of Peace“, I highly suggest you stop by the nearby „Picasso Museum“ - not only for a change of scenery from the overwhelming history of the 1600’s, but possibly for a quick refreshment at its bistro, too. The museum itself does not only exhibit artworks of its namesake, e.g. from his „Blue Period“, but also of other influential artists of the 20th century. Currently and throughout the remainder of September, an exhibition showcases Picasso’s „Peace dove“ alongside renowned war photographs, delving into Picasso’s artistic reflexion on war and peace in his work. However, as it’s not exactly the Louvre, you’re even welcomed to try your hand at the museum’s drawing workshops if you’ve ever fancied picking up a paintbrush yourself!“
