“My favourite place in Münster is the “Wochenmarkt” that takes place next to the Domplatz. Every Wednesday and Saturday morning, the area around Domplatz transforms into a wonderland for the five senses, with fresh produce sourced directly from local farmers. This local market offers everything for everyone: from aromatic and colourful seasonal vegetables and fruits, freshly baked bread, artisanal spices, cheese and olive oil, fresh flowers and plants, and handcrafted items from local artists. If you’re feeling hungry, you can indulge in light bites (highly recommended: Currywurst 😉) and coffee from one of the stalls.  When coming to the ESSD conference, don’t forget to visit this market and show your support to the local community. You can easily lose yourself in this friendly, vibrant atmosphere for hours to end. The Wochenmarkt opens from 7am to 2:30pm every Wednesday and Saturday.”
